Read 5? High 5!
We all know that the main way to improve our reading is to practise. Practise makes perfect!
Our aim is for our children to share books at least 5 times a week with an adult at home. The children also have a 'Reading for Understanding' discussion task that we ask them to explore every week with an adult at home too. This can be done with their school reading book or a book from home.
The children will gain rewards on our Read 5, High 5 chart for regular reading :)
