English 
At Stanton Primary School we value reading, writing, phonics and all associated English skills as key life skills. Our English curriculum is designed to help our pupils make good progress from their starting points and to set them up for a life beyond Primary school. We aim to help our pupils develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding needed to become confident readers and writers. Our curriculum is designed to introduce pupils to a wide range of stimuli that it built upon as they progress through our school.
